15-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp – Quick and Easy Dinner

This garlic butter shrimp recipe is the ultimate quick dinner. With just a handful of ingredients and 15 minutes, you have a dish that tastes like it came from a fancy restaurant.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup white wine or chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer. Cook 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
